I sort of tripped and fell into design as a child. From a young age, I was always someone who loved to draw and bring my daydreams to life on paper. That drive to create eventually spilled into the digital world. One of my earliest memories with design was on Neopets. As a preteen, I had gotten sucked into the RP (roleplaying) boards on there and wanted to bring my roleplay characters to life through customizing my petpages into character sheets. I taught myself to code a bit of HTML & CSS and began dabbling in GIMP to make photo edits. From then, I found myself trying to squeeze in design into anything I did - from fandom edits on Tumblr & Wattpad book covers to random high school projects.
Though I had a clear passion for design, it wasn't until after I graduated that it clicked for me that I could make a career out of what I loved.
